Carol performs and records with diverse accompanists, ensembles and big bands at clubs, concerts, festivals, corporate functions, private parties and studios. Her distinctive, accessible style of vocal interpretation combines impeccable technique with sophisticated artistry and inventiveness. Nominated for the Boston Music Awards as Outstanding Jazz Vocalist, Carol names Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan and Carmen McRae as some of her favorite singers and major musical influences. Her performances showcase jazz, musical theatre and film standards from the Great American Songbook, as well as her own material.
